| The receding flood waters and respite from rains come as a sign of relief to the city. But it is going to be a hard time for those who have been affected by the floods. Many have lost homes and property and do not know where to turn. |
| World Vision India is on the ground and responding. People displaced in Chennai are staying in 23 relief camps in World Vision's communities. We have reached over 20,000 beneficiaries so far through various interventions. 12,000 food packets, 40,000 water bottles, 500 biscuit packets and 300 mats have been distributed. A medical camp was conducted for 200 people including children. |
